Addressing the Limitations of Conventional Devices: Traditional displacement measuring devices, such as displacement meters and accelerometers, have their limitations. Displacement meters are restricted to single-axis movement measurements at a single point, while accelerometers, when used for multi-point measurements, face challenges with axis alignment, which can introduce errors. Additionally, the weight of the accelerometer may influence the movement of lighter targets. In contrast, our motion capture system measures the three-dimensional spatial displacement of multiple points simultaneously with sub-millimeter accuracy and a sampling rate of up to 380Hz. The system's efficiency dwarfs that of displacement meters and accelerometers, not to mention the lightweight, wireless reflective markers used in motion capture have minimal impact on the movement of the target object.
